A 32-year-old Texas man who was reportedly involved in a drunk driving accident that left a motorcyclist dead on April 10 was charged with intoxication manslaughter. According to the authorities, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of the East Freeway near Beltway 8.

Man faces fourth DWI charge of 2014

A Texas man suspected of drunk driving was taken into custody in El Paso on Dec. 3. According to the El Paso Police Department, officers responded to a 3 p.m. report concerning an alleged drunk driver. Police purportedly found the man asleep in his car in a gas-station parking lot on Gateway South. Officials charged the man with driving while intoxicated third or more.

Woman charged in car accident that kills her relative

A Texas car accident has left one woman dead and another facing criminal charges. The accident happened at the intersection of Loop 410 and IH 10 East at approximately 2:30 a.m. on March 15. According to police, the 25-year-old woman was allegedly driving while intoxicated and veered her SUV to the right. That maneuver caused the SUV to roll over.

Police file drive-thru driving while intoxicated

Texas residents might be interested in the following story. A woman apparently decided to have something to eat after consuming alcohol and anti-anxiety medication. This normally would not have attracted the attention of the police had the 34-year-old woman not decided to park her car at the local McDonald's drive-thru after arguing with workers who refused to give her free food. Police charged the woman with driving while intoxicated based upon a chemical test showing her blood alcohol content to be above the legal limit for intoxication.

Fatal North Harris County crash results in DUI charges

A man driving a black Mercury Grand Marquis collided with a tanker truck at approximately 11:50 p.m. A passenger in the back seat of the Mercury was killed in the crash. The driver and a second passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Mercury is alleged to have been driving drunk at the time of the accident.
