2 accused of Texas convenience store robbery

On April 7, Texas authorities reported that two teenagers were taken into custody after they were accused of being involved in a robbery that occurred on March 16. Both individuals, age 17, were ultimately charged with aggravated robbery. Detectives involved in the case indicated that more individuals may have been involved.

Man faces robbery charges following purse-snatching incidents

Houston police say that a tip from Crime Stoppers helped them identify a man who may have been involved in three robberies that occurred in local Walmart parking lots on Feb. 2, Feb. 21 and March 1. According to news sources, the 21-year-old man has been taken into custody and is now facing charges of robbery bodily injury in connection with the purse-snatching incidents.

Police charge 2 men with aggravated robbery

According to law enforcement authorities in Texas, two men were charged with aggravated robbery following an incident that reportedly occurred on Feb. 4 in the Katy area of Fort Bend County. The alleged aggravated robbery occurred at a Lifetime Fitness facility around 6:30 p.m.

Texas woman charged with allegedly impersonating an officer

A Houston man reported that a woman allegedly robbed him in his home while impersonating a police officer on Nov. 26. He reported to police that he spotted her outside of his North Houston apartment complex in a black SUV upon arriving home after withdrawing $1,300 from a Bank of America ATM. He believes that she followed him home from the bank at 12400 North Freeway.

Texas man returns to site of his alleged crimes, tries to buy gas

According to the Bridge City Police Department, officers detained a 22-year-old man in relation to a Dec. 30 robbery of a gas station convenience store. The armed incident was reported into authorities at approximately 10:50 p.m., officials said.

Texas FedEx driver charged after allegedly making up carjacking

It was reported on June 9 that a Houston FedEx driver was being investigated by police after she claimed that her vehicle was carjacked. According to the report, more than $20,000 worth of merchandise that was being transported by the truck was stolen in the alleged incident.

2 Texas high school students accused of robbery

According to that someone visited Parkview Manor Nursing early the morning of May 16 and ordered employees to open a safe. It is claimed that the individual carried a BB gun. When police arrived, the individual reportedly fled. However, the person is believed to have returned and ordered employees to move the safe. The following Monday, two 17-year-old Weimar High School students were arrested on theft charges. The student accused of robbing the nursing home has been identified as the school's quarterback.

Two men taken into custody for alleged theft

Two men are facing charges after police officers took them into custody following a bank robbery in Texas. Police allege that the men led them on a car chase before exiting their vehicle. Law enforcement officials then chased the men on foot and both were captured. An off-duty police officer was reported to have seen the men as they left the scene of the crime. He is the one who began the pursuit.

Winning lottery tickets are bad luck for robbery suspects

Two winning lottery tickets, some old-fashioned sleuthing by deputies and three confessions ended the number of theft crimes committed by a trio of robbers in one. The events started when two of the suspects purchased some drinks and lottery tickets at a Douglassville, Texas, convenience store. Two hours later, a surveillance camera at the store caught the men taking $400 to $500 from the clerk at gunpoint.A criminal investigator from the Cass County Sheriff's Office made the connection between the suspects and the robbery through the lottery tickets. The investigator checked the serial numbers of the tickets and located where the tickets were cashed. He then got a positive identification of the men when he went to a store in New Boston.
