2 Texas high school students accused of robbery

According to that someone visited Parkview Manor Nursing early the morning of May 16 and ordered employees to open a safe. It is claimed that the individual carried a BB gun. When police arrived, the individual reportedly fled. However, the person is believed to have returned and ordered employees to move the safe. The following Monday, two 17-year-old Weimar High School students were arrested on theft charges. The student accused of robbing the nursing home has been identified as the school's quarterback.

Texas couple arrested for theft of sorority pins in Arlington

A husband and wife from Texas were detained on suspicion of theft on Mar. 12. The 42-year-old woman and her 41-year-old spouse were arrested on theft charges for an alleged burglary of sorority memorabilia in Arlington. The woman was an employee at the college headquarters and has allegedly been suspended from her job. Details surrounding the charges remain unknown at the time of the report.

Texas man linked to multiple cases, facing new charges

Detectives with the League City Police Department reportedly linked a man to 13 new cases after he had already been charged with several offenses. On Jan. 13, officers reached out to the League City community asking for assistance in locating the individual who had a warrant for felony theft charges.

A 47-year-old man's attempted theft crimes in a Houston church were foiled when he was confronted by church members who were alerted by the sound of an alarm. A gaping hole in the ceiling of an office in the church bears testament to the burglary suspect's failed efforts to escape. Police arrested the man after church members bound him with tape and electrical cord. The man is being held on a felony burglary charge. A second suspect managed to get away before police arrived. It appeared to police investigating the crime that the suspects were after money, musical instruments and an amplifier. The church had been the scene of a burglary two weeks earlier in which thieves got away with a keyboard and guitars.

Man witnesses burglary of wife's car in Harris County

Police frequently rely upon eyewitnesses to help solve crimes. When theft crimes take place in public areas, there is a chance that the crime will be observed by eyewitnesses. A Harris County man became an unexpected witness to the theft of Christmas gifts from his wife's car and was able to give police a description and partial license plate number of the getaway vehicle.Later, when police spotted a vehicle matching the description of the one the witness gave them earlier in the day, they took the three occupants of the vehicle back for identification by the witness. Police released one of the men, but arrested a juvenile and a 17-year-old man on burglary charges. Police also recovered stolen Christmas presents and other property from the vehicle.

A Texas man is being held in a correctional facility in Pennsylvania after the alleged theft of a number of cell phones and pagers. Police arrested the man for the property crimes on Thanksgiving Day. His bail has been set at $25,000.The 26-year-old man had reportedly arrived on a flight into Pennsylvania late on Nov. 23. He was on his way to an Econo Lodge, where he intended to stay while he worked for a gas company in the area. However, police claim that, as the man waited at the airport, he allegedly stole seven cell phones and 11 pagers from the offices of a local taxi company.
