How to dispute drunk driving charges in Texas

An individual who is charged with drunk or impaired driving may have several defenses that are available. In some cases, although rare, the defendant can argue that getting behind the wheel while drunk was necessary to prevent something worse from happening. Those who are charged with impaired driving may also claim that they drove under threat of force or some other credible treat to their safety.

Driver accused of hitting motorcyclist charged

A 32-year-old Texas man who was reportedly involved in a drunk driving accident that left a motorcyclist dead on April 10 was charged with intoxication manslaughter. According to the authorities, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of the East Freeway near Beltway 8.

2 accused of Texas convenience store robbery

On April 7, Texas authorities reported that two teenagers were taken into custody after they were accused of being involved in a robbery that occurred on March 16. Both individuals, age 17, were ultimately charged with aggravated robbery. Detectives involved in the case indicated that more individuals may have been involved.

2 Huston men sentenced in felony theft prosecution

Two man have been convicted on felony theft charges in connection with items taken from a truck earlier this year. The two Huston natives took pictures and incriminating videos of themselves and posted the items on their victim's iCloud account.
